{"id":2033,"date":"2013-09-18T13:31:45","date_gmt":"2013-09-18T11:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rickzullo.com\/?p=2033"},"modified":"2022-06-08T18:55:49","modified_gmt":"2022-06-08T16:55:49","slug":"italian-fashion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rickzullo.com\/italian-fashion\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian Fashion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Ciao a tutti!<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Well, after pontificating just last week on the importance of bloggers posting regularly and consistently, I now have to admit that I\u2019ve got nothing this week.\u00a0 <i>Niente<\/i>!\u00a0 It\u2019s not that I\u2019ve nothing to say\u2014on the contrary.\u00a0 But between the blog redesign, the new bambina, and everything else on my plate, I simply ran out of time.\u00a0 And the truth is that I enjoy writing these posts too much to rush through them.<\/p>\n<p>However, one of the other things taking up my time recently has been penning my next little guide to Italian culture.\u00a0 When I write on these subjects,\u00a0it\u2019s always my intention to examine certain elements of Italian society as they relate to their overall cultural contribution.\u00a0 For example, I\u2019m certainly no expert on regional Italian cuisine, but my book <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1eBfi5C\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><i>Eat Like an Italian<\/i><\/a> attempts to explain the role of food and eating habits within the culture at large from the perspective of an inquisitive foreigner.<\/p>\n<h2>Lessons from Italian Fashion and Style<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rickzullo.com\/download-my-free-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2027 size-full\" style=\"border: 10px solid black; margin: 10px;\" title=\"dress like an Italian\" src=\"https:\/\/rickzullo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DressLikeAnItalian_XS.jpg\" alt=\"Italian fashion, dress like an Italian\" width=\"175\" height=\"275\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rickzullo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DressLikeAnItalian_XS.jpg 175w, https:\/\/rickzullo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DressLikeAnItalian_XS-95x150.jpg 95w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 175px) 100vw, 175px\" \/><\/a>\u00a0Likewise, my latest effort, <i>Dress Like an Italian<\/i>, discusses the <a href=\"https:\/\/rickzullo.com\/iconic-italian-style\/\">iconic Italian style<\/a> as a cultural phenomenon.\u00a0 Again, I\u2019m not a fashion expert, but I\u2019m intrigued by the fact that every Italian seems endowed with a sense of style and good taste.\u00a0 But similar to what I discovered with the food, Italians themselves seem unaware that they possess this knowledge.\u00a0 Incredible. \u00a0I only wish that I had been born so \u201cignorant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This little guide is short and sweet\u2014only about 30 pages of concentrated fashion wisdom.
